Developing
Your Curriculum
Vitae (CV)

A teleseminar to help you get prepared - before you are asked to submit your CV

Here's a likely scenario:

  • You learned to prepare a resumé when you were in college.

  • The rule was that your resumé should "never be more than one page."

However, now, time has passed...

You've grown; you've changed; and you may be asking,

  • How do I capture the details of all that I have accomplished?

  • How do I demonstrate the array of my experiences, education, and interests?

  • How do I incorporate into one document the various facets of my education, career path(s), awards, publications, research, training, presentations, and so forth?

Learn the difference between a resumé and a curriculum vitae, often called a CV or vita. Either click on the graphic at the top of the page or just click => here. You will be taken to my secure shopping cart.

The 90-minute class is only $39 (and students receive an additional $10 off by entering the coupon code STUDENT-CV through 4/15/10; please include the name of your college or university in "How did you hear about us" when you check out).  All registrants receive everything listed to the right.

Your registration will be acknowledged immediately and you will be sent all the information you will need to be a full participant.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010

from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. (Pacific)
2:00 - 3:30 p.m. (Mountain)
3:00 - 4:30 p.m. (Central)
4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Eastern)

Note: The teleseminar will be recorded and all registrants will receive the MP3 automatically after the live call.

Here's what you'll get by registering:

  1. Call-in information so you can be 'live' on the teleseminar;

  2. An opportunity to send in questions prior to the class so that you can have them addressed as part of the teleseminar;

  3. Handouts to download prior to the class and for later review;

  4. A template in MS Word to use for creating your own CV;

  5. An MP3 download of the class so you can listen as many times as you need and want to while reinforcing the strategies you learn.

  6. And more, of course!

Put your best 'self' forward by having a professional CV ready!

1-page guideline.  It's time for some new rules!"
